To automate reminders for recipients of your emails in Microsoft Outlook, you can use the follow-up feature called "Flag for Recipients." This feature allows you to set reminders for the recipients to ensure they take action on the email you sent. Here's how you can do it:

  1. Compose your email as you normally would in Outlook.

  2. In the compose window, find the "Follow Up" button in the ribbon at the top. It is located in the "Tags" or "Message" tab, depending on your version of Outlook.

  3. Click on the "Follow Up" button, and a drop-down menu will appear.

  4. From the drop-down menu, select "Flag for Recipients" or "Flag for Recipient" option. The specific wording may vary depending on your version of Outlook.

  5. Choose a flag option from the sub-menu. You can select options like "Follow up," "For your information," or set a custom flag.

  6. Additionally, you can set a reminder for the recipient by selecting a time frame from the "Reminder" submenu. You can choose predefined options like "Today," "Tomorrow," or set a custom date and time.

  7. Once you've set the flag and reminder, finish composing your email and send it as usual.

Now, when the recipient receives your email, they will see the flag and reminder you set. Depending on their settings, they may also receive a reminder notification at the specified time.

It's worth noting that this feature relies on the recipient using Outlook or a compatible email client that supports flagging and reminders. If the recipient uses a different email client or service, they may not see the flags or receive reminders.

Also, keep in mind that the flag and reminder you set are only visible to you and the recipient. They are not visible to other recipients of the email.
